Build muscle quicker and recover faster!
Breakthrough BCAAs contains the necessary branched chain amino acids, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine, required to build muscle and recover faster.
In addition, BreakThrough BCAAs have been specially formulated in a 4:1:1 ratio increasing the amount of Leucine to optimize the muscle building and recovery benefits of BCAAs. It has been shown that as we age, Leucine has the largest impact on muscle growth and fat loss.
Also, we added in the Essential Amino acid, Lysine, to help slow the breakdown of muscle building nutrients to keep the body in an anabolic state allowing for tissue growth, recovery and muscle building.

WHY?
THE NEED FOR BCAAs TO ACHIEVE OPTIMAL MUSCLE DEVELOPMENT
Fact: Everyone needs BCAA to support Muscle Protein Synthesis (MPS) or Muscle development
Fact: The only way to get Essential Amino Acids (EAA)in our body, like BCAAs, is through diet and supplementation.
Fact: As we age, our body needs more Protein and BCAA to maintain muscle tissue and support healthy aging.
Fact: The more we exercise and breakdown muscle tissue, the more we increase the need for BCAA.
EXTRA LEUCINE AND ADDED LYSINE: BREAKTHROUGH BCAA ADVANCED FORMULA
Muscle tissue, on average, makes up the majority of our body weight, and it contains the majority of all body proteins. On a daily basis, muscle tissue breaks down and regenerates. There are many factors that can accelerate the rate at which muscle will breakdown, just as there are factors that support the regeneration and growth of muscle tissue. A major factor is nutrition, and if the body is getting in enough Protein, and certain Amino Acids from protein, that will drive optimal muscle development and prevent muscle atrophy (wasting).
Protein, and in particular, Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) that are in protein, are essential for MPS. BCAAs are comprised of leucine, isoleucine, and valine, which are essential amino acids. BCAAs, with a special focus on Leucine, has been shown to increase MPS and the production of lean body mass, as well as stimulate a pathway called MTOR (MTORc1). MTOR expression leads to muscle development (MPS) and provides energy to our cells through activation of the Krebs cycle and by producing ATP. More energy to our cells is more energy to perform and function better. The MTOR pathway also slows down the breakdown of muscle tissue (muscle atrophy).
The powerhouse BCAA: LEUCINE
All BCAAs are important to our health, however, there has been evidence that increased amounts of Leucine has a higher impact on performance due to the how leucine functions in our bodies:
- Leucine starts the process of MPS (muscle Protein Synthesis) which builds up muscle protein and leads to muscle growth.
- Leucine supports fatty acid and lipid metabolism.
- Leucine helps regulate blood sugar by facilitating insulin signaling and glucose uptake into or cells.
- Leucine also slows muscle deterioration, which slows down the effects of aging.
Added benefit of the breakdown of Leucine: HMB
Beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB) is a metabolite of the BCAA leucine. HMB is made when we break down Leucine. Research shows that HMB slows the breakdown of muscle, preserving muscle tissue. Our body only produces a very small amount of HMB on its own and depends on Leucine in our diet to achieve maximum muscle development and faster recovery times. The more active you are, the more Leucine your body may need.
LYSINE: An EAA That Supports the Job of Our BCAA’s
The Essential Amino acid, Lysine, slows the breakdown of muscle building nutrients to keep the body in an anabolic state allowing for tissue growth, recovery and muscle building.
